605 SPRUCE ST. east of Park St.

Sponsored by the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom.

A 27-minute documentary slide show on Border Patrol abuses against immigrants in their custody in Arizona, and how the award-winning humanitarian aid group NO MORE DEATHS/NO MAS MUERTES is fighting to stop these abuses and to reduce the amount of deaths and suffering of border crossers in the Sonoran Desert.

Plus a presentation by Leila Pine and Craig McComb recounting their work with No More Deaths/No Mas Muertes at the Arizona-Mexico border, and how you can help save human lives. Leila will show her photos of nonviolent civil disobedience actions against SB 1070 in Phoenix on July 29.

This is a fundraiser for No More Deaths, so please donate whatever you can. Please bring a nonperishable food item for St. Mark's Food Pantry.
