Join us to learn about energy efficient solutions for everyone. Efficiency expert Mark Hanson will share energy- and money- saving ideas for homes & businesses, and just how our utilities and policy-makers can make it easier to bring energy efficiency to everyone! Energy efficiency can address some of our biggest challenges, from eliminating the need for new power lines and power plants to cutting global warming pollution. Learn how to use energy smarter, doing more with less and saving money along the way! Mark Hanson brings over 25 years of experience in energy research, teaching, program design,a nd commercial building planning, design, and construction. Mark works in sustainable commercial building design and construction with Hoffman LLC based in Appleton, WI. Hoffman's work includes schools, offices, medical clinics, and retirement facilities for religious and secular institutions. He'll share energy efficiency lessons from Hoffman's work. Mark is a LEED Accredited Professional with an A.B. in economics from Harvard College, a M.S. and PhD from the Institute for Environmental Studies at the Universtiy of Wisconisn-Madison. He recently worked with Sierra Club opposing new ATC power lines in Dane County. Refreshments provided.
