Sister City Events
 The Madison Rafah (Palestine) Sister City Project - MRSCP, 
WORT and the Madison-Arcatao Sister
 City Project present an evening in commemoration of
 Rachel Corrie, with the film "The Killing Zone and
 remarks by returned ISM volunteer Laura Gordon and
 Cheryl Broderson, Rachel Corrie's aunt.  Fund-raiser
 for Rafah relief projects.

 Laura Gordon will be on WORT's "A Public Affair" on
 Wednesday March 10, 12 noon with Esty Dinur.
 She will also be speaking on Thursday morning, March
 11, from 9:30 - 10:30 at the Truax Campus of MATC as
 one of the International Women's Day series speakers.

 Maria Helena Moreira Alves coordinates Brazil's
 largest grassroots organization, Viva Rio, organizing
 economic projects and social justice campaigns in
 Rio's poorest areas.
 
 Ella Cecilia Florez Alvarez works with the rural peace
 community of San Jose de Apartado and the new network
 of Communities in Resistance in war-torn Colombia.
 
 There'll be music and refreshments for all,  prizes
 for the lucky.
